The UFL Nation forums are now open for business. I am looking for good football fans to fill the ranks, get into heated and interesting topics and make a name for themselves! Or just come in and say hi! Join the discussion at UFL Nation Forums.

Um. Hello?
Howdy! welcome
Possibly there will be more interest once the UFL has begun its 2009 Season?
Otherwise its going to be very lonely writting in this blog since the last person to actually visit was back in 2008?
John, and SignGuyDino, did you die while writting your hellos and introductions? Could it be that you both suffer from narcolepsy and have since both fallen asleep at your laptops, for the last 16 months? If so, I would recommend a long bath followed by a shave and a hair cut real soon.
As for the developers of this site? I sure hope that the UFL and your site do make it beyond this effort. I sadly ran across the ABA’s site from 2009 and saw that it still had posts from the ghosts of 10,000 defunct basketball teams that it had tried to sign up.
Four teams is a bit small but, its better that the league only allow teams in that have the stability to remain in and not become a flash in the brain pan as was the now defunct NEW ABA.
For those too young to remember the original ABA was the American Basketball teams that had notables such as Dr. J and many others that were there to express their free spirits and flambouyant styles of play and excitment that the NBA at that time had chosen to remain stodgy and low key. The boring traditional game of professional basketball of the NBA soon changed as the ABA and 4 of its teams actually made it into the NBA as well as many of their better players.
As a previous fan of the Dallas ABA team the Chaps when I was a very young player myself I had the choice then of watching the Chaps and their highly exciting game of one on one with limited or no defense to speak of or watch the Celtics which whoes home games always were on national tv. My other choices of watching pro basketball were none. Or at least until the NBA opened up cities like Dallas, San Antonio etc.
So, lets hope that the UFL will be lucky enough to become a viable league of its own and for that to happen we all know they need more than 4 teams.
Anyone out there know of any other BillionAirs that want to take a chance and a BIG Tax deduction on a pro sports team?
And, hopefully the UFL will have the smarts to at least attempt to penetrate the fan bases of thier locations by NOT CHARGING AN ARM AND LEG for tickets! How about that?
Anyway, I will make a note to check back once every few days to see if anyone else stumbled into this website looking for more information on the UFL.
If you do stumble in please send me a note?
